The P-B-L "Timesaver"... It's exactly that. . . (We gave thought to calling
it the PBL "Hassle Saver" too...) Because it does just as its name implies: It
saves you time... AND hassles...
Narrow Gauge Equipment, by nature, is difficult to set onto the
rails... The trucks are "narrow" and the bodies aren't...
In other scales these things are referred to as "re-railers"... The implication
being that their stuff DE-rails and requires at least an occasional re-railing
to get it on track again...
We kinda like to think that our stuff is pretty darned reliable, and though an
occasional derailment
could
occur, we think the most likely use for our "Timesaver" is when a guy needs to
set his cars on the track initially...
We even made a video showing me trying to set one car onto the rails, and then
Jimmy, showing off, starts setting a bunch of cars on our test track / layout,
and poor Mary Ann trying to field them as they came sailing down towards her...
It's not very professional, but it is kinda funny, and it certainly
demonstrated why we decided to call this thing a TIMESAVER!
But descretion being the better part of valor we decided NOT to put it out here
for the world to see... She's kind of sensitive about this sort of thing...
